The Rotary Club of Cleveland is celebrating 100 years of Service Above Self. Julia Brouhard, a Trustee of the Club, was actively involved in the Club’s presentation of the Tall Ships Festival as its birthday gift to Cleveland in 2010 and in Project YESS – Youth Empowered to Succeed through Sailing – which serves at-risk youth in the Cleveland area. Project YESS was developed by Club members with help from the community and includes classes designed to develop teamwork, leadership, and safety skills, culminating in week-long sails on tall ships. Project YESS began as part of the Tall Ships Festival and is continuing as a legacy project in 2011. |

Julia Brouhard is a member of The Entrepreneurs Association, one of the top business owners associations in Ohio. The association is housed in The Edward M. Muldoon Center for Entrepreneurship at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is on the Student Entrepreneur Liaison Committee, which recently selected students for the Hatchery, a designated workspace at JCU where student entrepreneurs have a unique opportunity to explore potential business opportunities with the assistance of mentors from the EA. |
