Robert Coniam’s practice consists of litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants.  He has practiced general maritime and civil law since 1986 and has successfully represented clients in both jury and non-jury matters in both state and federal courts in the Great Lakes region.

Robert is a member of Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association.  He has been recognized as a Proctor in Admiralty by the Maritime Law Association of the United States and has received the highest possible peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

• Represented shipowner in a one-week jury trial in a personal injury case brought by a longshoreman in federal court in Hammond, Indiana, in 2009, settled while on appeal
