Julia Brouhard focuses her practice on civil litigation, collections and transactional matters. She has extensive experience in jury and non-jury trials in state and federal courts throughout the Great Lakes states, in Texas where she started her legal career, and in other states as pro hac vice counsel where her clients have been sued. The majority of Ms. Brouhard’s practice involves national and international admiralty and maritime matters including personal injury, cargo damage, casualties, sales of vessels and mortgage foreclosures. Ms. Brouhard has been recognized as a Proctor in Admiralty by the Maritime Law Association of the United States and has received the highest possible peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Ms. Brouhard has been active in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, serving as Trustee, Chair of Women in the Law Section, and Chair of the Certified Grievance and Admissions Committees. She is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Cleveland, currently serving on its Board of Trustees. Education
